The EUROTORT database is a non-commercial scientific project of the European Centre of Tort and Insurance Law (ECTIL) and the Institute for European Tort Law of the Austrian Academy of Sciences and the University of Graz (ETL). Contents are provided for information purposes only.
 
The contents of its webpages have been created with due care. The data and information contained herein are provided „as is“, and neither ECTIL nor ETL make any representations or warranties, either expressed or implied, as to their accuracy, completeness or suitability for a particular purpose. Similarly, ECTIL or ETL make no representations or warranties with regard to the non-infringement of third-party proprietary rights. Neither ECTIL nor ETL accept liability for any loss or damage (including consequential or indirect loss or damage) that may be incurred as a result of any person's actions arising from their access to, use of, or inability to use the site or with regard to the reliance on, and/or use of, the data and information provided therein.

The database infrastructure and the contents included therein are subject to Austrian copyright. The use of data with the means foreseen in the database are permitted until further notice. A user may download, store in a cache, display, print and copy the material in unaltered form only. A user may not transmit, distribute or commercialise the material without the written and express permission of ECTIL and ETL. This temporary permission can be withdrawn in the future upon unilateral declaration of either ECTIL or ETL.
 
Use of the database is currently free of charge. Users are encouraged to provide feedback on the use of the database. However, ECTIL and ETL explicitly reserve the right to change conditions of access to the database, and access charges, royalties or subscription fees may be introduced at any given time in the future without prior notice.
 
Use of the database shall be deemed to be full acceptance of these terms and conditions.
