Medical Liability in Europe
In cooperation with and supported by Ecclesia Versicherungsdienst GmbH and the ECTIL, the Institute for European Tort Law will produce a comparative survey of medical liability in 13 European jurisdictions. Apart from a series of theoretical questions, six particular fact problems will be analyzed by the various country reporters.
A comparative report on the national studies will also take account of an economic analysis of the key issues thus providing a level of investigation beyond the mere contours of the doctrinal law.
The project is designed to update and expand the scope of a previous study, which formed the very first publication in the "Tort and Insurance Law" series.
