Institute Director,
Ken Oliphant, will act as commentator at this symposium celebrating the forthcoming completion of the Third Restatement of Torts: Liability for Physical and Emotional Harm.
Virtually all of the leading torts scholars in the USA will be present, along with prominent American jurists and lawyers, and international scholars. The Restatement is the work of two Co-Reporters, William C. Powers (University of Texas) and
Michael D. Green (Wake Forest).
Professor Green is also a Member of this Insitute's associated organisation, the
European Centre of Tort and Insurance Law (ECTIL), and the
European Group on Tort Law. Ken Oliphant will comment in the symposium session on Negligence, responding to papers delivered by Kenneth Abraham (Virginia), Ariel Porat (Tel Aviv) and Aaron Twerski (Brooklyn).
