On March 17th, the IGKK is hosting a panel discussion under the title “The Logic of Arbitration”. During this event, international arbitration will be analysed from the angle of constitutional and procedural law.
O.Univ.-Prof. Dr. Bernd-Christian Funk (Universität Wien), o.Univ.-Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Jelinek (Universität Graz), RA Dr. Helmut Ortner (ARP Andreas Reiner & Partners) und ao.Univ.-Prof. Mag. Dr. Wolfgang Weigel (Universität Wien Joseph von Sonnenfels Center für ökonomische Analyse des öffentlichen Rechts) will discuss several selected aspects of arbitration.
Current trends in the unification of arbitration proceedings, the economic perspectives of alternative mechanisms of conflict resolution and the binding nature of arbitration decisions along with constitutional standards of arbitration will also be covered.
