Curriculum Vitae
Mike Green is one of the United States’ most respected experts in the area of tort law. He currently serves as a Co-Reporter for the Restatement (Third) of Torts: Liability for Physical Harm, a publication of the prestigious American Law Institute. Mike is a co-author of one of the best selling Torts casebooks and of popular Products Liability and Toxic Torts texts. He was ranked as the 6th most cited law professor writing about torts and product liability in a recent survey. Mike has been a participating member of the European Centre of Tort and Insurance Law and the European Group on Tort Law since 2002. He is a co-author of the Reference Guide on Epidemiology in the Federal Judicial Center’s Reference Manual on Scientific Evidence, which serves as a reference on scientific disciplines for federal judges. Mike received of the prestigious Fleming Prize for outstanding torts scholarship (jointly with Bill Powers) in 2012
